We melt and clean raw comb using the solar wax melter we built here at Timber‑Hill River.

 

It’s slow, steady work — sunlight, heat, and time — and it keeps the wax pure without chemicals or shortcuts.

If you have old comb you don’t want to deal with, we’ll take it off your hands and clean it here. Use the wax in our products or to sell direct.

 

Some batches come in tidy. Some come in tangled with brood, debris, or age.

Because of that, the cost depends on the amount and condition of the wax.

Base cost:

$10 per batch Additional cost depends on how much wax you bring and how rough it is.

This isn’t a commercial operation. It’s a practical service that keeps good wax out of the trash and puts a little support back into the refuge.

 

All proceeds go directly toward the bees and the land we care for.
