Timber‑Hill River is a working refuge for rescued honey bees and a growing habitat for native pollinators. Everything here is built by hand, paid for out of pocket, and kept moving at the pace the land allows.
The bees don’t ask for anything. But the work does. And the work is for them.

What the bees need right now
These needs change with the season, the weather, and the rescues we take on. Some things we can make ourselves. Some things we can’t.

Ways People Help the Bees
Support doesn’t always look the same. Some people contribute funds. Others bring lumber, hardware, native plants, or equipment. Some offer their time during rescues or habitat work. A few drop off materials they aren’t using anymore. Every kind of support helps keep the bees safe and the refuge growing.
